Weeaboo comes from a stupid panel strip about business men discussing revenue of some sort from "WEEABOO". I imagine its stock market related.

Cue to a man with a paddle saying "did someone just say weeaboo? Because I thought I heard someone say weeabo!"

Cue again to the businessmen using the paddle to smack the hell out of the person who originally said it.

Because of that, I like Wapanese better, because weeaboo's original usage makes no sense to me... but weeaboo can be used for people who aren't white. Even Japanese people can be Weeaboo.

We do make up terms for people who like other cultures though. Keeaboo and such. But these are not real words either.
