Ugh, this is the one thing that I hate about this version of Lillie. It's like they took that one trait of "dislikes pokemon battles" and changed it to "is scared to hell with pokemon" and multiplied it 100x. I'll bet you that they'll probably degrade Gladion and maximize his chuunibyou personality as his one and only trait when he makes his appearance.

i know you hate the anime,Shift. just don't go full hate mode about it.
the personality change is actually a key to differentiate the character from the game with their anime counterpart.
also, how lillie constantly terrified of pokemon actually matched the show orientation to goofiness and it can act as a running gag of the show.

Alright, I can accept that it is a good way of differentiating between the two versions and that it can help be a nice gag for the show's goofiness. But still, after being such a great character in the game, probably the best character since N, it just feels kind of sad seeing her personality change so drastically for the show.

Yeah really none of the characters are 100% identical to their game counterparts, shoot Kukui doesn't even have a wedding ring on his finger so he might not even be married to Burnet in the anime, also Sophocles is more active in the anime compared to his timid game self.
