One of the more awesome and memorable moments I had in the Air Force.
That is bad-ass. Did you wave the take off lights? Did you have any temptations to jump and cling on and see what kind of magical journey you could go on?

This wasn't an aircraft carrier, planes just wait for clearance from the tower to take off. As for your second question, that wouldn't end well.
