It isn't right to ask our users to delete their cookies every time they wish to change this setting.
I don't know what kind of problems this might cause in coding but I can see where a user will have to be logged in for this to work. Perhaps the cookie code need only apply to anonymous users who are not logged in and the user option can be used for everyone else.
Another option might be the addition of yet another button in the blue bar at the top of the page. (View: Full Size/Smaller Size with the selected option highlighted) Pressing this would change the value in the cookie and refresh the page to show the change. |
