Tsathoggua was actually created by Clark Ashton Smith, who's probably the most prolific early Mythos writer who's not Lovecraft (Robert E. Howard beats him for sheer volume of stories, but only if you include his non-Mythos stuff, e.g. sports, westerns, historical adventures, etc.).
The thing between Ponyo and the ghast is definitely Rhan-Tegoth IMO; as for Tsathoggua, it's the big red furry thing behind Rhan-Tegoth. It's quite often bee depicted with a snout due to being said to have similarities with bats.
