He is the top hat and monocle wearing main villain of Super Paper Mario and seeks to destroy the entire universe. Despite this self-destructive goal, his minions are intensely loyal to him and he himself does not seem to be as malevolent as other Mario villains. His motivations are gradually revealed over the course of the game's story. He also has a tendency to speak in third person and act as if he is reading from a novel.
