Safe only searching is available again. You can use the feature by visiting your account option page.

gelbooru.com/index.php?page=account&s=options

It was hacked together in a few minutes time so if there are any bugs or problems you encounter, let me know.

When I'm editing my options, if I submit the form and have a blank ("") for My Tags, the Safe Only option somehow ends up getting checked. If I uncheck it and submit again, it stays turned off but the word "deleted" goes in My Tags. So it doesn't seem like you can have Safe Only turned off and have an empty My Tags.

I'm using Firefox 3 and it appears to work fine for me. Which browser are you using to access the site?

I'm using Safari 3.1.2 on a mac.

I had it a bit wrong. What actually happens:

- if box is checked, and I save, box stays checked. (good)
- if box is checked and I uncheck it, save, box is now unchecked. (good)
- if box is unchecked, and I leave it alone and save, box is now checked. (?)

same with My Tags, except instead of checked/unchecked it's empty or has "deleted" in it.

I'm having the exact opposite problem, using Internet Explorer 7 (I think it's 7).
If I uncheck the box (after it's checked) and save, it stays checked. I tried deleting the cookies in my temporary internet files, but that didn't help anything.
I tried adding something to 'My Tags', unchecked 'Safe Only', and saved. The tag stayed, and the box was checked again.

I've only had this problem on my laptop, though. If I use my PC (which has an MSN-type explorer, not sure of the exact name), I don't have any problem checking/unchecking the Safe Only Mode.

Maybe I should just get Firefox, it doesn't take up that much memory, right?

It'll feel a lot cleaner when you browse the random websites as well. It takes a bit of time to get used to though, so don't bail out on it after a few minutes of messing with it. :)
