What about a Japanese artist that do Western styled art keeping those guys around its basically just as "bad" as Western artist using the Japanese art style. It's a pretty funny bias because I seen some western artist do better then their counterparts.

But take notice at how much slower the mods are to delete good Western artists. The crappy MS PAINT westerners are getting ditched faster than a motherfucker. And that's good.

The Nip artists who draw western content generally get to stay because they are good too. The ones who aren't any good are only slipping by because Gelbooru's quality control is pretty relaxed. But don't just assume that Nips don't get occasional boots-in-the-ass too.

Or how about Karbo? He's a frenchie, but does Japanese art extraordinarily well. But I've updated his wiki entry to show that he is a Frenchie, and therefore is banned.

Just like how itnernetlovemachine got all of jcdr's work removed (and edited his wiki entry, just as I did with Karbo's), even though his work was pretty good, for a Mexican.

Karbo, although I'm not a fan of that vore weirdness, is pretty good. Artists like him is where the downfall in the Japanese-only rule is, because he actually has some good content.

All the Littleshrimp stuff disappeared sometime this week. The Ben 10 and Airbender deletions I can sort of understand, but Littleshrimp? Come on. Yeah, he's a round-eyed monster, but he only drew Touhou shit. We're deleting good art based on meta-information instead of how well it fits the site's present contents or how the inner core of Japan-obsessed white devils take to it. Do you think that maybe in light of how many people expect the site to be anime-themed instead of bitterly anime-purist, it's time to re-examine the TOS?

When western artists were allowed (as long as the drawing was fan-art for anime, manga, etc), there was a bunch of "anime style" art, crappy or otherwise, that wasn't related to any anime or manga. Or, as you mentioned, people claiming Ben 10 or Avatar should be allowed because they're "anime style". The point isn't that this is a board for "anime style" work, it's just what the title says--Gelbooru is a Japanese themed site. Just because something is drawn in the "anime style" doesn't mean it's instantly related to Japan.

Hence, most of Karbo's artwork should be removed :V Most of his artwork doesn't relate to Japan.

I'm well aware of that, and I'm saying that maybe it's time to re-examine that limitation. Mods deleting awful shit could still be encouraged. They could even have stricter standards toward non-Japanese material. I just think it's nothing short of fucking ridiculous that a Japanese artist sketching Snoopy would be within the TOS, but an American obsessive producing Haruhi fanart visually indistinguishable from official art would be verboten. Why do we care less about the drawing than who drew it?

I'm 90% sure that glenn_andrean is American, so... Could a mod please do something?
