That's the same on both sites what are you talking about

If you don't get a 'privileged' account on Danbooru(either by being such an established contributor they promote you, some form of moderation, or paying), you can only search for two tags, and can't view loli or shota. You can search unlimited tags and view loli and shota here to your hearts content.

If you're a normal member on Danbooru, your images are pre-moderated and have to be accepted by a janitor or mod. Images aren't moderated at all on Gelbooru, and you could argue that that means the image quality here is lower, it also means a fair amount of duplicates and images violating the ToS get through.

Personally, I think the tagging quality on Danbooru is better, Gelbooru has stupid tags like "cute" and "sexy", though we're trying to get rid of them.

Gelbooru gets images from Danbooru, so the majority of the images on the site are the same, but the images here are occasionally undertagged because we only get the original tags/notes from when the images were first uploaded to Danbooru.

That's from the top of my head.

so any images that get sent to danbooru automaticly gets sent here?
also for the tagging thing, i think u might be write on that, though i havent been on here long enough to bring a verdict, why dont u make like a sticky post of somthing and write all the tags that will be allowed, or somthing like that, becuz than if ppl keep on putting whatever tag they want, it will get all messy and stuff.

Yes, pretty much everything that gets uploaded to Danbooru makes it way here, by way of this account: gelbooru.com/index.php?pa...amp;s=profile&id=6498

We had a big thread going about the removal of subjective tags, but it's stalled out recently: forum #1019

I haven't been doing as much work on them as I should.

o cool, well one thing i know is i'll do my part to get rid of these useless tags, and put more appropriate tags as much as i can.

o, and 2 more questions: what excalty is blacklisting? and is there a resize function here?

Blacklisting is blocking a certain tag from showing up in your searches.

If you blacklist "guro", for example, every image tagged 'guro' will show a gray box titled 'Blacklisted' or something like that instead of the image thumbnail.

Some of the larger images are automatically resized to be smaller, there should be a bar at the top of the image saying the image was resized that you can click to see the original.

Nothing in particular.

Read the Terms of Service, check the wiki if a certain tag confuses you, use the forum for any tagging questions you might have that aren't answered by the wiki, and don't use subjective tags.

If you upload anything, check iqdb ( iqdb.org ) first to make sure it hasn't already been uploaded. You can also use this to try and find any images you find off a message board, it's pretty dandy.

And I personally stay away from the comments on this site, they mostly all annoy me.
