So you are the official arbiter of when and where this tag can be used? Because if we were to give bad_anatomy to each and every image that had a fingers a few pixels too short or breasts slightly off center, the tag would be on tens of thousands of posts here and not just the few hundred it's currently used on. Either the tag is terribly underused, or there's some subjective standard that is quite different from the ambiguous definition for "bad_proportions" on the wiki.

I suppose your word has more weight than mine does?

No, bad anatomy is not "a few pixels too short" or "slightly off center"(well i suppose it can be depending on just what is a few pixels too short or off center), bad anatomy is glaring anatomical flaws. Bad anatomy is fingers being disproportionately long or ridiculously short, it's breasts being attached too high or low on the body. The tags are subjective, but we need tags for poorly drawn or badly proportioned images. They need moderation so people aren't just adding shit they don't like to them.

And bad_anatomy, or at least it seems, is basically just a catch-all/subset for bad_proportions anyway, with the bad_feet, bad_hands tags, whatever other bad_*** tags we have etc. showing the real problem.

Reading through this "bad anatomy" discussion is becoming reminiscent of the "surreal" discussion in the cute thread...

Perhaps we should all just agree that, yes, "bad anatomy" is actually subjective, but it really should be the worst (or more realistically, only) subjective tag on Gel, and that it is the only subjective tag that is actually necessary due to some people's reactions to poorly-drawn images.

Having a slightly-subjective tag such as bad_anatomy is infinitely better than having people constantly flag images they dislike for deletion, which muddies the pool and makes truly necessary deletions take longer, or people adding tags along the lines of "sux" and "shitty_art" (both of which I've removed in the past from images). Sure, not everybody is going to use bad_anatomy, but from what I've seen, it mitigates the issues enough to where those who disregard it are easily-corrected, instead of having poor tags becoming pandemic.

So let's move on from the bad_anatomy tag, shall we? It is a subjective tag, but is a necessary evil in this case.

Discussions about tags like that don't hurt, unless it gets to the point that I can't explain why it belongs any clearer and they still don't get it.

They're not really evils to me, but saying all the bad_***, poorly_drawn, etc. tags are necessary evils works. They need to be watched, but they're some of the very few subjective tags that belong.

Should epic be considered subjective too? It seems like it's in the same area as 'awesome', 'cool', and other tags like that.

I personally think it'd be better as a pool, but we decided in the previous thread epic should stay. All the other tags which could mean the same thing like 'badass' maybe should be consolidated into epic.

I have decided to use this image as a marker to see if new images were tagged with cute (until a better image comes along). Please don't remove the cute tag from it.

On a side note, is there a tag for the dark circles/wrinkles under a person's eyes when they are very tired (or unhinged), or do we just use the sleepy tag?

Isn't that one of the things age_difference is for?

Just cleaned out sacrilege and sacrilegious, added Kaishun tag as needed (only one post from the show).
