Cleaning up and tagging
Posted on: 01/24/09 01:11AM

Should major tags that represent what the picture is from have color? I'm talking about tags such as: Pokemon, Yugioh, Dragon_quest, etc...
Heck dragon_quest_iii got a color tag but dragon_quest didn't and that really ticks me off. Is there such a command or previlage that lets users edit the color of tags?
As the topic suggest, i'm here to just clean up+tag images where needed.
Also, is it possible for users to look up the list of pictures and tags they have tagged all together?

The tag is colored by setting appropriate type of the tag. In your example that would be "copyright" type. Just add copy: in front of that tag. Other types are char: and artist: for characters and artists. See help for details.

Looking up images you've tagged is not yet possible. Make a feature request for that on our tracker.

I believe you can revert it to a tag by doing tag:. Example: tag:cat

No, you're doing it right. There is a bug in the type setting part of the system. Will add this to the tracker.

Is it me or is someone screwing around the site, or is there some sort of bug going on, or am i doing it wrong? I labled a few tags that NEEDED a color tag. I refreshed the page and the color tag is there. I plainly looked up the tag i just colored and there it is, it's colored. Now after a few hours later, I got look up the tag and well, there's no color anymore.

Yeah, a bug. It'll be fixed later. It will be the top of the priority list since this is a bit more serious than the other bugs we've had revealed.

Don't waste forum space so i'll bring back this topic:
As i come across some more pics i find the tag "character request". Is this sort of like a "tagme" tag where the picture is requiring a viewer to identify who that character is?
If so i've been doing some cleanup over there(haven't gotten much done) but is it correct if after i identify that character i erase the "character request" tag?
