Jerl's explanation implies that the complaint is sort of valid, but nothing can be done about it. My post doesn't explain why the ads are the way they are, but focuses rather on why the complaint is unreasonable in the first place. The term "double standard" can only apply in cases, in which multiple things, or multiple people are SUPPOSED to be regulated by the same set of rules, but aren't. SO yes, that is unfair, but the rules for posts WERE NEVER MEANT to regulate ads. Rules are the site owner's tool to control users. Rules weren't made to enable users to order around the site owner, lol. The sheer idiocy and entitlement of that complaint just triggers me.
