I usually don't care much about minor characters. Their minor for a reason. And their sex appeal is underwhelming to the MC girl.
Every once and awhile though you get a minor girl who actually gets popular. Even more so than the MC on occasion.
Anyone got any examples? I know of Clannad. Kyou overshadows Nagisa... but Visual Novels don't work as well for obvious reasons.
