Removing some of the other reasons they might be explicit it looks like only a third of them are rating explicit for showing a bare crotch and for no other reason.

If the genitals aren't showing and there are not other reasons for the explicit rating (cum or sex acts etc.) I'd say it should be rating:questionable.

I'm starting to see 4channers uploading downsized gelbooru images that lie about their aspect ratio. Not just Gelbooru images though, but a lot of them.

I think a strange epidemic is happening.

Could easily get around it by copying into paint and saving from there though.

I'm starting to understand why the md5 hash on some images isn't matching Pixiv. Because the internet is fucking breaking and people are having to manually save images from something else.

edit: If you save the jpeg from 4chan, it actually saves the full sized image. But not as a PNG like it should.

Why are there two seperate name tags used for the same character?

kagamino_kirie and kagarino_kirie.

There is no "kagamino kirie" character listed for this VN. A google search shows no "kagamino kirie" either (except when used on booru sites). The gelbooru wiki contains no explanation for why there are two different tags for the same character.

It looks like someone created two different tags by mistake. Should they both be merged into "Kagarino Kirie"?

At the moment we have two tags for the same thing. If I did a mass edit to swap tags on Gelbooru it would effect over 88,000 posts. Should I do it, hold off, discuss further?

I don't know if this was the right place to put this, but I checked the FAQ, and it sent me here.

Right now there are two tags - "armbinder" and "monoglove" - that describe the same piece of bondage equipment. Both of these tags are a little small, and they almost completely overlap: gelbooru.com/index.php?pa...tags=monoglove+-armbinder

I believe they should. Armbenter is the most popular on Gelbooru but it looks like Danbooru prefers monoglove. Since we get so much other tags from Danbooru I'm going to merge them into monoglove.

They are not the same. A monoglove is a type of armbinder, but not all armbinders are monogloves.

I think bound_arms might be the correct tag for those else the use of a more specific name for such an armbinder. I'm open to using armbinder as a category tag for arms bound by a device specifically made for BDSM but again I think most of those would be covered by bound_arms anyway.
