Dominant_trap might be falling in line with the use of the existing trap tag but then we already have people who think trap is a derogatory term so I really don't care.

How do we signify a new artist in a tag? Because I got some art from this one pixiv guy and I don't think any of his works have been uploaded to gelbooru yet.

Or basically what I'm trying to say is how do we make the tag appear red like it does for all the other artists?

One way is to add the tag to the image like this: "artist:tag"

So if I drew something it would be tagged artist:jedi1357 and the tag jedi1357 would appear red.

This also works for:
copyright:tag or copy:tag
Character:tag or char:tag
tag:tag (to remove special colors from a general tag)

Another way is to find the tag here: gelbooru.com/index.php?page=tags&s=list

click edit and change the tag type.

If a censored image is uploaded to Gelbooru but then later the uncensored version gets uploaded, do we keep both or does the uncensored image count as the superior version?
For instance, if an artist uploaded the censored version to Pixiv and that got uploaded to Gelbooru but then a few days later they uploaded the uncensored version to Nijie or Tumblr or something and then THAT made its way to Gelbooru, should I flag the censored version as inferior or do both Gelbooru posts stay?
(obviously not counting unofficial decensors)

We keep both. Do not flag the censored version.

In fact, any time an artist releases multiple versions of an image, we keep them all. I guess there probably is a change insignificant enough for us to delete it, but we've kept images for tiny little accent lines being moved or tiny differences in shading before, so it'd have to be pretty minor.

Often times the censored version is the original and the decensored version is an edit by someone else. Again, unless it's a poor edit we keep both.

I recently found a few artists who upload censored stuff to pixiv and uncensored versions to other sites like tumblr, which is why I asked.

Also, on an unrelated note, "nipple_pinch" ought to be aliased to "nipple_tweak".

the tag SAI gelbooru.com/index.php?page=post&s=list&tags=sai comes from danbooru. It looks like it refers to nothing.
