OR operator not working right? (solved)

I'm having trouble with the OR operator. When I type in the tag search it seems to treat them as an AND instead.
Example: Say I use "~touhou ~mario" to get posts tagged either "touhou" or "mario". Instead I get results as if I typed in "touhou mario" as the only results I get are both only.
Am I typing it in wrong (no the tilde I'm using)? Something on my end?

That search does not yet work. It is currently on the tracker and will be worked on this summer.

Okay. It's in the cheatsheet so that made me assume it was.
