I often come here for worksafe material when I'm less "on my own", so I put rating:safe in the search. Is it possible for you guys to display only worksafe ads when rating:safe is in the search?

No, however, if you go to My Account and turn on safe only mode, the ads will be safe. It's the same thing, except you don't have to type in rating:safe over and over.
