I would like to point out that very tall and narrow or short and long pictures don't seem to display.

I would recommend adding a button that resizes pictures, either into their original sizes, or to fit the screen.

Firefox Does the Image Resizing Automatically, provided that you select View Image from the context menu AND if the Link ain't broke in any way.
My beef is with Hunourmous Images that are like 50MB in size that crash your Computer if you try to view them because the Browser can only handle a max of(last I heard) 30MB.
Resample, Dam it! I think I wanted those pics. . .
