just an idea that an anon had to make sure that all the anons don't have to see guro if they don't want to without them haveing to use the blacklist... here is his post

Guro is sick, but it should NOT be made illegal. Artistic freedom above all. However, I do wish there was consensus to ban it on this site. But since that is not the case, I simply hope that eventually a change in the system will be implemented to, by default, blacklist images tagged with "guro" or "toddlercon" for anonymous users, and then those who really want to see it can get an account and remove those tags from the blacklist themselves.
I'd post about it on the forum, but you need an account to post there, bleh.
this would stop a lot of the flaming and the antiguro people would prolly like it too

Added the ticket for you. Suggest any feature ideas there in the future. Makes it easier for everyone, especially little ol' me. (Geltas makes me add them to the tracker, otherwise work will not be done.) :)

If anons start with certain things blacklisted, there should be an easy and obvious "reset all options" button that removes them all.
It seems however that most of the objecting anons are not in fact interested in merely avoiding the guro, they want it actively removed from the site and to wish violent death upon the artists and posters.
My suggestion for resolving this problem is to ban the anti-guro anons who have nothing to contribute but insults and death threats.

I have just had geltas edit the comment list from making guro, toddlercon and scat appear. This will reduce the amount of hate since users will now have to actively search for the comments and images. If they do that, then they are admitting they wish to view the content, even if it is just to participate in a flame war.
Now locking this topic as a system has been decided on to prevent this stuff from appearing.
