Okay, a few of my posts were deleted for reasons that don't make sense.

The images were just that. Lone images. They aren't from a doujin. It's quite annoying that some of these mods don't even bother to check these things.

While I'm not the one who deleted your images, I looked over it and the images *seem* to violate the TOS regardless of the improper deletion reason. You are uploading cartoon porn that is not related to Japanese culture, images which seem to be sourced from WWOEC. Unless the artist "DTiberius" is Japanese, these images are not allowed. The standard for Gelbooru is anime or images that -somehow- relate to Japanese culture and are of high quality.

I believe that is the reason why some of your uploads were removed. I'm sorry if this has caused you any upset.

All deletions are not permanent until you no longer see a reason left and just get a 404 image. Those are by DTiberius, as yuki pointed out and will be completely removed when time permits. I may put a link saying you can appeal a deletion of an image you uploaded on the forum. Maybe. But in this case, they will not be restored.

Hmm, okay. I guess that makes sense. Seems reasonable. Though, to be fair, shouldn't all of his art be prohibited here? I mean, he is not Japanese, even though some of the things he draws (i.e - Pokemon) are still displayed. Yet, the others aren't? There are plenty of toons and such on here that aren't even Japanese. Things like Batgirl, The Incredibles, and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. Hell, there's still Spongebob pictures up.

I'm not trying to get on anyone's case, it just doesn't seem to make sense to me.

If you notice any art that should not be here according to our TOS, please flag it for deletion. :)

If the artist is Japanese then it's okay. If the artist isn't Japanese (or known) then various elements are considered before it's deleted such as: does the image relate to Japanese culture in some way, is it influenced by anime or Japanese art, is it of high quality in both size/resolution and artistic talent (drawn well, colored well, overall professional/talented piece of art). If it's doesn't meet those expectations (in the event of non-Japanese artist) then it is probably going to be deleted.
