I'm going to be upgrading our data server with some new drives, including an Intel X25-M for thumbnails and two 1TB drives. One for Gelbooru and one for TheDoujin. After those upgrades, I'll be attempting to swap out the main case once more. If that is successful, I will add in 8GB of RAM, bringing us to a total of 20GB. There will be down time during this process for at least 1 hour. Pray to the loli gods that I don't burn it.

I may be heading out by the end of this month since I should be getting an RMA'd board sometime as a backup. Just in case I do break something. All this means in the long run is that we have better distribution of resources in case the main box does go down and I'm unable to get it back up fast I can use the secondary box to replace it temporarily without any performance impact and minimal downtime. :)

Wasn't too long ago since the last upgrade. Two months ago?
Always backup all my stuff, but I'd figure it would be a burden to have to back up Tera bytes of data. Took me like 3 hours to back up a quarter of a terabyte through USB.

Upgrades completed, syncing all images, doing other stuff behind the scenes. As of now, we are fully operational.
