I think that the tags for DmC Devil May Cry referring to the characters Dante Vergil and Mundus should not apply and be removed. A different name to refer to these characters should be used instead as they do not resemble their original selves. Nicknames that the fans will agree on such as DINO,Vorgin, and Mondus.

Maybe so but oftentimes I see plenty of comments that do not agree on the stance that the copyright tag is enough to differentiate between the characters. In layman terms people here do not want to call those characters by their established names. And they should not have to. A qualified tag sounds about right but I do not know what that entails or whatnot.

At least though this site bothers to use the DmC Devil May Cry unlike Rule 34.

We always tag characters with their real names if they are known, with the only exception being when said name is a spoiler.

I think the existence of the copyright tag for the reboot on the images should be enough to differentiate between the characters. If not, the other option would need to be a qualified tag, which would need to be discussed and approved here before being used.
