Alright, so I ran a search for the tag "16:9" (which I don't have blacklisted), which reports having over 2000 posts.
However, despite my post threshold being -1000 (mostly testing purposes, but it's also freaking hard to get under my skin), I only see like 4 images (2 of which I added the tag to myself).
If this is a bug, I suspect a migration thing may have been the cause of it (and anyone, myself included, can slap it into Trac).
If there's something else I overlooked, I would like to learn what it may be.

We actually don't use that tag any more.
It's very common for a tag counter to show more posts than the post actually has. The counters count soft-deleted posts, and at some point back in version 0.1.x branch there was a bug that allowed tags to be added to the same image multiple times, and they were all added to the counter. For tags that were used long ago, it's common for the counter to be off by thousands of posts. Rebuilding these counters would require that the site be taken down for over a day, so we haven't bothered.
