Pretty much what the topic title is, I'm wondering if there is a way to show say 100/200 posts per page instead of 42. It would just save time on switching between pages, especially for searches with huge amounts of results.

No. However, there's a userscript you can use to make it display infinite posts per page: userscripts-mirror.org/scripts/show/58065

You need an extension like Greasemonkey or Tampermonkey to actually run userscripts.

Paginator doesn't seem to be working with gelbooru anymore sadly.
I tried it with danbooru and it works fine but not gelbooru.

We do not provide support for third-party extensions, so unfortunately we cannot help you with those.
The number of posts per page is set to 42 on purpose for performance reasons - serving thumbnails is one of the biggest hits to our servers. Because of this, we currently do not have plans to enable more posts per page for general users. It could potentially be an option for users who have purchased an ad-free code in the future, but that isn't something we have planned at the moment.
We do not ever plan to implement infinite scrolling on the site.
