What are you watching now and how do you like it? Also, explain what you like / don't like.

I'm currently at the 8th episode of Mitsudomoe. It's a loli anime from 2006 and it's complete garbage. None of the main characters (3 sisters) is even remotely likable. They take turns suffering at each other's hands and executing revenge. They get away with anything, no matter how retarded, as the grown-ups are merely props here (but they suffer at the hands of the sisters as well). There is a lame running gag, if you can even call it that. Actually they are just same jokes used again and again. Been wanting to drop it ever since the first episode, but forcing myself to continue, because I thought this was a classic. Chibishly drawn, got some fanservice, but overall cringeworthy and retarded. Sexual misunderstanding - the anime.

I at least appreciated Mitsudomoe for steering away from the "you must be this Japanese to get the joke" formula. (comparatively)
Same joke over and over again can be bad and result in dropping of show, but the above point forces me to drop a show before the first episode has even completed.

I don't know why I like Raildex now. I mentioned that I suddenly became obsessed with it. It isn't even anything too special. Though Railgun S is the most noteworthy.
I've already seen the movie and all animated adaptations so I've moved on to reading it all. (First Light Novel I've read in years) I want season 3 of Index just for Dark Matter.


I'm about to start hero academia and probably rewatch something dumb like Mahoromatic with the nostalgia goggles on.


Side note: likeable character doesn't always make a character good. There was a reviewer who reminded me of this after he actually did a second review on School Days. His verdict was still mostly the same, but he focused on that point about characters and what it is we want or expect in them. Do you want a villain who's just evil for shits and giggles? A Villain who is a well-intentioned extremist who is using terrible methods to achieve what they consider justifiable ends? Or a villain who is so good at being the villain, you don't even know they are the villain until its too late? Or is either one fine as long as it fits the scenario based on what you'd think the villain should behave in it?

Things to think about for any show. The three little girls are clearly the villains... not the heroes.

Touma's pimphand is strong and that's quite special.

I've always loved the raildex. Not a single boring episode.


Except for Shimoneta and Seitokai Yakuindomo (wordplays are impossible to translate), I don't even remember ever encountering such issues. Anyway, it hasn't aged well. Although it did get better towards the end. But it's definitely not a keeper.

Last anime I've watched in entirety was probably Himouto! Umaru-chan. I've been convinced by my sister to watch it together. It was mostly okay but I was annoyed because of how much I identified with the main character.


I'm rewatching some of my most liked shows recently. Ninja Nonsense, Working!!, Seitokai Yakuindomo etc.

Mahoromatic is the official anime of flat is justice.


Been storing this show (unseen) forever now. Which is the main reason why I can't drop some shows.

I'm slowly watching Mushishi and Zeta Gundam, as well as a few seasonal shows (Re:Zero, 91 Days, etc.)

Watching anime even with friends is pretty weird, I tried it several times and always end up they sleeping while I watch the whole thing to the end.

Pretty much if the anime has a cute girl I like I will watch it till the end, currently trying to finish Tanaka-kun wa Itsumo Kedaruge
