Re:Zero kara Hajimeru Isekai Seikatsu - Starting in a new world from zero

Currently at episode 17. Man, this is absolutely different from what I expected. It's depressing, totally not Konosuba.
Normal guy appears in a fantasy world. He (hotblooded, IQ average at best) keeps not getting the memo that everyone else is OP as f**k. The struggle is real. Wow helplessness, such suffering, much depression. Insanity kicks in. Oh yeah, androgynous kitty cat is fine too.

Ore Monogatari!! - or Harambe finally gets a girlfriend coub.com/view/70m96

Currently stuck at episode 4. For some reason I find love comedy extremely hard to watch. Keep hitting pause after 5 minutes and start doing something else... T_T

Finally through with the show. It was better than expected, but still lame and somewhat repetitive. There was barely anything memorable, so nothing to see...
GF be like: lovey-dovey -> uncertain -> lovey-dovey -> uncertain
then it's the BF's turn to be lovey-dovey -> uncertain -> lovey-dovey -> uncertain
then it's their friends' turn to be what? You've guessed it...
then a challenger for the gf appears and then another one
then a challenger for the bf appears and the show is over.

... LAAAAAAAAME. But not as lame as The world god only knows, which I'm dropping after the 4th episode. Because it's repetitive and lame. Watching shows like that feels like grinding in an mmorpg, which is a chore and not enjoyable in the least.
Summary: some guy plays and beats pretty much every galge (dating sim). He is tricked into a contract with a not very demoney demon (more like a magical girl) to win girl's hearts (for some irrelevant reason). He succeeds, the girl loses her memory, which means next episode = next girl. And that means 0 progress/no character development, same shit again and again, just with different girls (but it's still the same thing). Even the fourth episode, which started off seemingly different, turned out to be ridiculously repetitive. Annoyed the fk out of me.

Just watched the first 4 episodes of Kill la Kill. Has a mecha-ish vibe (bad) and everything's overexaggerated (bad) but it's actually watchable. The animation and art is top notch.

Yeah... I watched around 5 episodes of that and totally forgot about it. It was super cheesy and lame.

I will always watch the newest dubbed version of Detective Conan, but I like most the episodes with Masumi Sera and Ai Haibara the most. Once I found a lilarious fanart or short!doujinshi in which Kogoro dies, and the examination reveals he was poisoned with some high level sleeping drug for a long time and they wonder who that could have been done and why Kogoro never realized it was done to him. Cue Ai telling Conan "Told you so"...

But at times it is also boring with the same repeating jokes.

For some reason I watch the old clasics rather then finding new stuff. Most never stuff is more or less disappointing to me.

Nothing Tops Gurren Lagann, Kill la Kill (the newest of the best), Black Lagoon, Neon Genesis Evangelion (so old and yet so well done), Occult Gakuin (had only one pantyshot), Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet (I have to finish it, stopped somewhere around the 8th episode or so), Soul Easter and Fullmetal Alchemist are favs as well. Also good is One Piece. Also FLCL and Azumanga Daioh.
Also, Suzumiya Haruhi (minus the endless 8, that was suicide attempt by the animation studio... seriously)

Also, Last Exile. But the continuation, not really. Dunno why, maybe the main character is too bratty and self righteous?
And I loved Eureka Seven. Wonder why I was not bothered by the whiny Renton, maybe the curiosity about Eureka and the mysterious life-form that merged with the planted got me hooked. When trying to rewatch it is now appears quite boring to me. (Unlike many of the above series that I can still watch once again)

After a while I stopped with Naruto, though, and never really did go much for Sailor Moon. I tried Inuyasha, and while it's funny, it is too long somehow... At times I watch Ranma 1/2, first I was offended by how bad he was treated but then I realized what a jerk he is that that it's not to be taken seriously but an over the top comedy.

I started with Gundam Build Fighters Try... but it got too boring aground the 3rd or so episode so I stopped watching it. I used to watch Bleach, but the the Hueco Mundo <sp?> arc put me off, man that was depressing and annoying.

I eat worst exploitation movies for breakfast.

While I love good horror movies, I I fucking LOVE bad ones.

This falls squarely under "average" for me, based off of some of the other shit I've seen. Modern Japan actual does some crazy good horror. But their worst really does compete with the SyFy channel and the worst 70's exploitation garbage.

RWBY. Even after the death of the creator Monty Oum, season four is coming out next month.

Scifi channel and TNT horror movie marathons were a big part of my childhood.
