On this site, futa refers only to hermaphrodite. Newhalf refers to transwomen with breast augmentation. If you've seen otherwise, then it's tagged wrong.

Newhalf isn't specifically for transwomen with breast augmentation. It's for a character with a female body type except a penis instead of a vagina. How this comes about is irrelevant; characters who are naturally born that way apply, as do actual female characters who have had their vagina magically replaced, whether temporarily or permanently. There are a bunch of other cases that don't involve transwomen at all.

Though there should also be a tag for transgenders. Seeing Kayo Police tagged as a trap/boy (with tags locked, stupidly) just because she didn't have breast implants on that particular pic kind of pisses me off.

The problem is, once you start thinking of the characters in porn in terms of the issues that real people face in real life, you open a can of worms. The "trap" tag is useful for people who want to wack off to pictures of cute, effeminate boys made up to look like pretty girls without worrying about their struggle to be accepted by society as female or the hell those kids must have gone through being ostracized by their families and beaten up at school. And then there are all those pregnant lolis...do we really want to think of the implications there? And I hope those poor pregnant newhalfs are scheduled for cesareans...

They were less likely to be tag-poisoned than newer posts but I knew the other mods would think it was a bad idea so I didn't. You are still welcome to go to the gardener's guild and request tag changes be made on locked posts.
