I never said they where really good. All I said was that the admin allows cosplay of most any kind. It has to be really bad before I delete it. On that note, I did just deleted some really bad stuff from league_of_bitches just now. As for the Adventure Time stuff you linked, I would not have restored or unflagged those.

I do see you deleting fairly good on-topic posts from time to time but I haven't spent much time questioning it. It's likely someone else restoring them.

Non-Japanese: Anything not drawn by a Japanese artist is not allowed unless given specific exception by the moderation team for quality!
Should be changed for:
All art is accepted, though sometimes we'll delete pics if we don't like them!

Because the "Non-Japanese" part doesn't even seem to serve a purpose anymore, and that "specific exception" actually means that most Western posts are ok (for you).

And the fact that crappy Western artists stays and fairly good ones go doesn't make sense. If it does, make me a mod.

I don't know if you've been told but we can't catch everything that's posted. Flagging the posts that don't belong is a good start. As long as the reason isn't BS we won't get mad. Both you and Domestic_importer just flagged over 100 posts and I deleted over 90 of them. I will leave the rest for the other mods to look at for now.

edit: You missed "Photographs of cosplayers, figures, JAV models, or prominent figures in the industry are acceptable."

Fun fact: Most of the posts I delete are duplicates flagged by other users. And to Xalrun, I can't remember the last time I restored a post that was not brought up in the deletion restore thread.

So all Western cosplay is immune to the quality standard, no matter how cheap and crappy it is? Any figure is ok? JAV models are Japanese, so I don't know why it's even mentioned. And prominent figures in the industry? Which industry, crappy Internet cosplay posts by Western fatties?

We've also got site staff who are known to dump Steven Universe and Loud House art by Western artists. Sometimes straight outta drawthreads. That is what it is, I guess, but they need to decide if they actually care about the artist rule. It leaves the door open for problems when someone in a position of power is uploading and keeping low quality Western art by using the loophole in the rules, while other Western art is being deleted that's several times better than the art they've decided is good enough to upload.

By the way, since I saw some of it got linked, Western-copyright source porn was never allowed, and I thought I had made that one clear in the past, but maybe not/not enough.
