Been a while since I used Patreon. How do I make sure when I throw down the $10 that disable ads reward goes to this account? I see the option for Unsung Hero and choosing your amount for one time payment, but I don't see how I let you guys know this is my account when I pay up.

It'll ask you for the email address you used for the Patreon donation. Make sure to check the box that says "disable ads".

Actually, I just noticed at the last minute that I misread the options and that there actually is no one-time donation option. Do I only get to keep the adblocking as long as payments keep getting made? That has a very big impact on my decision.

No. If you donate $10 or more, disabling adblock is awarded permanently, even if you completely stop donating after one month.
