The only slow thing here is awfully slow webms, do not care too much about this though, Gelbooru is not Youtube after all, I can wait.

If it goes slow again, check to see if the forum loads fast or not. This will help me determine what is the bottleneck a bit easier.

Around 11:20 central it took 1 minute and 45 seconds to load a page of 42 thumbnails. A third of that time was spent on the last 3 thumbnails.

Edit: Five minutes later it took only 19 seconds. (A different non-cashed page.)

Of course it does. Youtube is made for videos and it (pre)load any video as fast as hell.
Gelbooru is for static images. They always load fast enough for me to not notice it. At least during last 5 years. At least when I am looking for something.

It's like you're saying all those porn webms should go on Youtube instead of here.
