We will work on getting rid of these as soon as we can.

Pop-unders should only display images and hypertext links. If there is any sound at all then the pop-under should be reported.

If it is blocked by a genuine anti-virus running on your computer, if it locks your computer at all or if it prevents you from closing the window then it should also be reported.

I just had an extremely annoying ad, that played very loud sounds as soon as it opened.

I love how Gelbooru say to desactivate AdsBlack and then... The adds going to hide after some times on the site. But... Its not the case, nice lie.

I just don't feel like I get many ads myself.

Though the banner at the bottom of every page is duplicating the same ad multiple times. While not any more annoying than 3 different ads, I bet it cheats the sponsor system and counts as multiple views per single hit. Kind of like how fake news articles force you to click "next" after every paragraph to generate extra ad revenue.

We are currently running them longer for statistics and for another server upgrade. Working on finding direct advertisers with higher quality ads, and this is the best way to get the numbers.
