There used to be an inflammatory discussion about incest on id=3750354, to which I gleefully contributed, but it has since been deleted. I checked the site rules and howto:comment wiki page, but I don't entirely understand what led to the pruning of these comments.

There is a guideline about being polite: "Senseless aggravation is indistinguishable from trolling, and in egregious cases can lead to a ban.", but while there certainly was a heated disagreement going on, nobody was being rude as far as I can tell. Maybe my sense of "rude" is antiquated or just different from the moderators' sense, but I don't want to assume.

I'd much appreciate being given some certainty on if I did something wrong and if I was considered rude or if there was another reason to delete the comments. Or just "we reserve the right to delete comments", I don't want to get banned you see.

I can't tell you for certain but it's possible that the discussion went south after you left. If that's the case we may have deleted everything that led to it to avoid floating responses hanging around. They might also have been deleted if the discussion had little to do with the image you were commenting on. The discussion should be about the post not about incest.

I noticed my post about Skuddbutt's nationality was also deleted, how odd.
