Advertising breaks website functionality and leaks personal information

Separated the moderator edit to this post to make things clearer. Normally people would use the reply button.

Grats

The ad page that got blocked is here:
syndication.exoclick.com/...06&block=1&email=

Read that URL; I'd rather you don't sell a comprehensive list of my fetishes to third-party advertisers.

For the record, I'm still seeing 7 banner ads per page, none of which are blocked and all of which just seem to be adverts for porn sites.

Is there any way to keep tracker blocking and third-party request blocking turned on (to avoid search tags leaking out to people that shouldn't see them among other things) but still browse the site? I'm viewing the page in private browsing mode, so "do not track" is turned on, but this site doesn't appear to respect that either. I am not willing to make changes to my browser which would result in personal information being leaked to third party companies and linked with a profile they have built from my browsing on other websites (especially those that might be connected with my real-life identity).

Even if this gets resolved for me, other users are still going to be affected. Selling your users out is not the only way to make money. Many YouTubers have decided to move to alternative revenue sources because YouTube is fickle with their ads. Danbooru gives you extras if you pay to upgrade your account. Patreon and its alternatives are rising in popularity, and even optional (donation-based) subscription models seem to be enjoying a fair amount of success. AnimeBytes runs entirely off one-time bitcoin donations. It's all possible.

Anonymous moderator response:

>Selling your users out is not the only way to make money
we don't
>YouTube is fickle with their ads
they lost large advertisers on their network, not because they are fickle
>Danbooru gives you extras if you pay to upgrade your account
We are not Danbooru, and do not agree with paywalling access to any additional content.
>Patreon and its alternatives are rising in popularity, and even optional (donation-based) subscription models seem to be enjoying a fair amount of success
Patreon and every other network will not accept adult websites due to it having content the payment processors do not agree with, it is a matter of time.
>AnimeBytes runs entirely off one-time bitcoin donations
No thanks, it will not work out, the theory has been tested already.

Title was edited to "I'm angry ads aren't blocked and result to fear mongering."

I would have appreciated a more mature discussion on the topic. I understand that you don't like the forum being spammed with the same complaint again and again, but it is a symptom, not the problem.

Fortunately not. However, the list of tags along with other data it scrapes from the site and browser (IP, screen resolution, referer, cookies on the advertising domain, etc.) are enough to give me cause for concern due to how easy it is to match visits to individual users. This is basically the industry standard, but I am not comfortable sharing my browsing habits on this site with advertisers.

I got the usual Fap Titans ad from that link.

The ads may be different for different regions.

We serve 3 flavors of ads. The usual like the one you got, SFW ads for those in SFW mode and Artist ads because why not. The info we send is for choosing the right type of ad. Your e-mail should not be given to anyone. I'm not even going to touch on Google Analytics. Unless you own your own ISP then someone knows everything about your browsing habits and there is nothing you can do.

-----------------------

In a 2 quart sauce pan boil 9 oz. of dry elbow macaroni for 14 minutes.
Strain and add a 12oz can of Campbell's tomato juice.
Salt and pepper to taste.

It's a lot better than you'd think.
