Did you break your site for Firefox users?

It's not about the ads. I'm fine with them as is.

Just using the site with firefox the ads show, but the images do not. Just tiny squares.
In chrome it works just fine. Shows it all.

So I'm wondering if you accidentally broke it for firefox browser.

I'm using FireFox and it works fine.

I think you have something blocking JavaScript.

I have any blockers disabled at FF, still site serve me both pop ups and banners today, despite i selected pop ups only. And week ago it was working. This is not first time. Problem is not the ads, but horribly made site? Or awful ads setup?
Ads just live on their own and jump here and there when they want and disappear at some days to be back after that.

Okay, today is different. I am getting banner ads too despite having them disabled. It's likely the admin did/changed something but hasn't said anything to us about it. Or maybe he botched something before going to bed and didn't know about it. It's not just you getting this today, we're all dealing with it now. Hopefully it will be fixed soon.

I'm having the same problem as well.

If you have a look under the ad settings on the options page you'll see they're doing that thing again where ad choice is temporarily disabled, meaning that you have to have both banner ads and pop-unders until it's restored, according to them within the next week.

I just hope the reduction in ads over time works in in-private. Currently it isn't and having about 20 tabs/images open after 5-10 minutes spiked my ram usage to 2.5GB and CPU usage to about 20% for Firefox (64bit). Maybe we can get an option to disable animated ads or something (gifs, webms, mp4s, etc.) because currently it's reaming me in the ass and I don't want to use Chrome ;_;.

Less ads over time will be re-enabled when we reach the correct ratio of ad blockers to non ad blockers. This may take time as the number has only switch in the opposite direction by about 0.5%. The ad selection will be re-enabled in about 2 more days. I am just using this as a benchmark gathering to compare last week to this week's traffic levels.

You're not going to get people re-enabling ads if you keep making it worse and worse.

I did have adblock disabled before you turned ad selection off. I suspect turning it off now was a mistake, because people who don't want banner ads who otherwise might have disabled their blockers are just going to put them up again.
