Gelbooru on Mobile

I've been using Gelbooru on my phone just fine for a while now, but recently the layout completely changed. It's almost unusable compared to the desktop format you could switch to before. The button to switch between interfaces is completely gone! I'm just stuck with the dumb "Toggle Tags" thing, which just makes everything inconvenient.

Click on options in any mobile browser and click on something like 'show desktop page'

If you use Gelbooru frequently on your phone I would suggest getting another browser just for using Gelbooru.

Safari and Chrome both don't work. Requesting desktop version just brings up the same layout with no ads on both. That's nice, but I still hate the layout too much to use it.

I can not reproduce. Which phone do you have, can you show me a screenshot of the check box marked as well as browser version?

I am using an iPhone 6 with ios 11.0.1, and Chrome browser version 62.0.3202.70, which is the latest version as far as I can tell.

On the left is the mobile site, and on the right is the desktop site. There is no checkbox, but the "Request Desktop Site" changes to "Request Mobile Site" when you are on the "desktop" site.

As you can see, both layouts are exactly the same, except the desktop site does not have those obnoxious ads. I have not been able to use the regular desktop site ever since the "toggle layout" option was removed from the top of the page a week or so ago.

Perfect. I'll look into it later.

I have the same problem.
It seems that the width of the page of the site adapts to the width of the screen. In the desktop browser works the same.
If you narrow the size of the browser, the width adapts. It would be nice if there was a fixed minimum page width.
Not my native language. I apologize for any mistakes.

Heh, in my case, my new tablet completely ignores the mobile mode. I can't switch to it, even if I wanted to. Not that I'm complaining. Where is your God now? Still deciding whether I should be keeping this tablet. Perhaps this is reason enough.
