Well, there were images with that tag as if heterosexual sex is not for granted. But I hope you're right and that tag is only on 10% and not as many as my impression makes me think.
How about the eyebrows_through_hair? When I first saw that, it just baffled me. Eyebrows visible through hair is how I see a typical anime/manga. I can't think of any anime/manga where you can't see the eyebrows through hair. I'm curious, name me one anime/manga where you can't.
And the ceiling tag made me giggle. It just looks like a joke among tags.

It's so sad when "Straight_shota" tag gone forever....i have a good time with that tag since i've got here last year. Without "straight_shota" tag it will be mostly yaoi shota and i'm not into that :/ i love straight females. Just asking.

If you only search for shota then you'll probably find yaoi content, yes. However, if you search for both hetero and shota then you'll find exactly what the straight_shota tag used to be used for, hence why it is now irrelevant.

There's only 45 posts with both the tags "yaoi" and "hetero" on the entire site, only 16 of which are also tagged "shota". You might occasionally find a yaoi post that isn't tagged "yaoi". Please report the uploader on the Report Tag Poisoners thread or directly to a moderator, since "yaoi" is a frequently blacklisted tag, therefore omitting it from posts one uploads is a form of tag poisoning.

Why is there no equivalent "shota" + "homo" tag pair (since the "homo" tag matches nothing)? It would be useful to sort *out* straight shota. Sometimes I try "shota" + "2boys" but then I end up seeing straight shota featuring two boys and a girl. >.>

homo is not a tag. Use "shota yaoi"

You can see the exact definition of any tag on the tag wiki. Just click the question mark next to its name on a post view or search page.
