Posted on: 04/04/18 07:03PM

I've downloaded several webms in the past and the yall worked without problems, but now when I download one and try t play it, all I get is a static Pokémon image. Did somethng change I wasn't aware of and if no, how can I fix this?

No. Are you using the same device and media player?

Yep, PC, downloaded via Firefox and played using Media Player Classic. All previously downloaded webms work, just none of those I try to download now.

Which WebM is that?

Have you tried opening the same downloaded WebM in Firefox?

gelbooru.com/index.php?page=post&s=view&id=4058334 is one. And yes, opening in Firefox works.

Works just fine for me in MPC-HC.

Huh, well, not that it really matters anymore, as it was just deleted for ToS violations.

But this one doesn't work either: gelbooru.com/index.php?page=post&s=view&id=4171219

Though, I noticed it didn't actually have the webm tag, like most do, could it be that it isn't really a webm? Sounds stupid, but...

EDIT: Nevermind, checked out the webm tag, and none of the newer ones work. *sigh* What is going on here?

Have you tried updating your MPC?

What browser? Sometimes the controls might not show, in that case it's required to right click on the 'still' and click 'show controls', then play.

It's not in his browser. He's saving the videos to his hard drive, then opening them up in a media player program.
