Gelbooru is not working for me
Posted on: 06/17/18 05:15PM

For some reason the pictures in the website are not showing for me, I have tried with all the divices that have internet but I cant load any of the pictures, I have discovered however, that If I open a picture using the "original image" option and remove the "simg3" of the address of the image, I am able to see the image.

So is there something wrong with the site? or do I have to do something to be able to see them?

I can use other similar sites like danbooru, zerochan, yande.re, etc with no problem but none have the muscle power of the search engine and the same amoutn of content

You must disable any ad blockers and any extensions that prevent JavaScript from running (and make sure JavaScript is enabled in your browser). If you're using Incognito, many users have reported that breaking the site as well.

I don't have any ad blocker software though, never used icognito, also javascript is running in my browser, I have tried both fire fox and google crome. The website used to be functional for me a couple of days ago, kinda like 3 or 4 days ago. As for other extensions I dont have any either, also I have tried to use the website on my phone and is not working either.

Try opening a command prompt or terminal and running a traceroute to simg3.gelbooru.com.

In Windows:
tracert simg3.gelbooru.com

In Mac or Linux:
traceroute simg3.gelbooru.com

Screenshot the result and post it here. Feel free to cover up any IP addresses or resolved hosts that give away your location if you wish.

It could be an issue with Cloudflare, but there isn't anything we can do about that since it's not a service we control the uptime of. It is not known for its reliability.

It times out way to early for it to be a cloudflare issue, looks like an ISP problem to me

I agree with Slayerduck. It's timing out right when it gets to your ISP. Your ISP might be experiencing an outage across a particular Tier 1 network, or it might be blocking your access to simg3 for some reason.

Ok nevermind it is working now!!, I guess that it was indeed my ISP, but maan there were like 5 days or so withouth gelbooru, I didn't knew that I liked this website this much.

Anyway thanks Jerl, lozertuser and slayerduck. you actually didn't solve my problem but you keep me at ease with your replies. Its nice to feel that some else care. Thanks again
