I tried looking these up in the Help pages, but found nothing. I'm guessing that Alias replaces one trash with the other, and Implication adds the implied tag when the implying tag is present? I'm asking because I'm thinking of repurposing the multiple_penetration tag (its current wiki entry says "use multiple_insertion instead") as an Implication of both double_penetration and triple_penetration — that is, double is two holes, triple is three holes, and multiple is two or more holes (which usually means two or three, as the usual subject of penetration only has three). Multiple_insertion would be a separate thing that could be combined with any of the multiple_penetration tags.
But I want to know how Implication works before implimenting this; after all, there are a lot of double_ and triple_penetration tags out there; and I'm afraid of tag bloat.

As for your first question, yes, that is how aliases and implications work.
As for "repurposing the multiple_penetration" tag, you should use the guild to discuss tags like this. forum #1706
Lastly, there is no need to re-invent the wheel here. Those double/triple_penetration tags are already covered by the multiple_insertion tag and we can't have two tags with the same meaning. It is best to simply have double/triple_penetration implicate multiple_insertion. I can do a mass edit to fix most of this right now but our new implication system is still in beta and I'll need to go through an admin to make this automatic.
