Ummm...what is wrong with this site? As I'm trying to edit a post I'm continueally and randomly kicked back to the post list. I click a tag in the "my tags" box...booted. I click the "save changes" box...booted. Seemingly at random, sometimes it happens sometimes it doesn't. I've tried this on Firefox and Chrome...same thing happening. What is going on?

Could be deliberately locked. Would know if you post it, and someone can try to duplicate the problem.

If you're using that DuckDuckGo web proxy on the site, it's probably messing with your security token.

I also regulary had that issue before, mainly when uploading, but also when editing tags. Sometimes it worked and sometimes I randomly ended up on the posts list page and I had to go back and redo my upload/edit. I never used a proxy for visiting gelbooru.

I can only recommend to deactivate all browser addons that could mess with the site. It can also keep kicking you out if you only have DSLite IPv6, where your IP is randomly rotating/ changing (some providers in some countries don't give out constant IPs to regular customers).

I'm not using any addons on gelbooru and I changed my IP to normal Dualstack a while ago and the issue doesn't happen to me anymore since 1-2 years or so.

I know Gelbooru has a 10 second cooldown on editing posts where if you try to again before the time is up it redirects to the posts page, perhaps it applies to other things as well.

That is probably it. How do I uh...not use that? I returned to the site today through a bookmark, not DuckDuckGo, and it's still doing it.

Delete your bookmark. Navigate to the site by typing the URL directly into your address bar. Save new bookmark without DDG proxy.
