Doujinshi Images?
Posted on: 05/10/19 05:52AM

TOS states: "Doujinshi/Manga/Light Novels: Do not upload these. Comic strips are fine (4koma), as are the covers of Doujin only!"

Yet there is a ton of it here. What am I missing?

We have only a handful of active moderators, and there are more important things for us to be doing than tracking down doujin/manga pages.

I actually wish covers were allowed if they still aren't. Especially if textless variants exist.

Maybe recruit more mods then? Or maybe appoint some temporary ones? It wouldn't take too long for a few people to mass delete all the easily-spottable images. Also I would think that the rule should be tweaked a bit to allow full color/pages with a full-page drawing. I wouldn't think anyone wants Cle Masahiro's or Yang-Do's masterpieces to be removed.

Art books that aren't really telling a narrative are still allowed. As for multi-page comics, our sister site thedoujin.com/index.php/categories/index was specially made to host these.

Amazing idea; report rule-breaking posts to draw mod attention.

Btw. What about bonus one-page illustrations, that don't have anything to do with the rest of the work story-wise?
For example pictures like that: nhentai.net/g/202006/218/
To me it seems identical to what a lot of artists post on sites like pixiv for example.

If it's just an illustration, it's fine, even if it's part of a work that is mostly a comic. To be disallowed, the image itself has to be a comic. Non-comic artbooks are completely allowed, for example.
