See the title. I want to download all the images from a given tag so I can zip them and archive em if possible. I like collecting images, but going from image to image and going ">save as" for each one of them is rather tedious.

This is not a multi-million dollar site. This free-to-use site barely makes enough money to support one family. This term requires you to view each page and any ads that may be on it so we can pay the internet bill for this site.

There is something you can download on GitHub called grabber that can mass download pics within specific tags from different Booru sites. I used it when I would make characters for some open source hentai sim brothel games a good while ago.

Update: The site owner will allow grabber and similar programs to be used to download small portions of the site. Just don't over do it.
Important note: Do not use Imagus. This program is harmful to the operation of our site. If our system detects that you are using this program it may automatically ban you and every IP you have ever used permanently. The same goes for any tool that looks for every possible file type of every image in the set it is trying to download.

I would actually donate for a "batch tag download" option
I've used grabber a lot to batch download loli and I feel bad if it's been harmful to the site

I'm not sure what the end result would be (successful or not) but you can put a ticket in the trac, label it as a feature request for 0.3 and donate to our Patreon. Patreon donations all go to the development of 0.3, an open-source update to Gelbooru.
