I'm just saying that's not a bad idea. I don't know what exactly is going on, what legal reasons, threats, or whatever the admins/mods are being attacked with.

If the main issue is "your site has certain content(s) and we don't like it" easily opened to the public for viewing, than maybe limiting certain tags to non-account holders will ease the problem.

At least I'm assuming that's the only issue...hopefully. I'm sure you all had multiple discussions about this situation.

That's what was done originally and they dialed it back to this to make it more accessible to viewers. I don't see any reason why they'd yoyo back to that.

My only gripe about Danbooru, they are incredibly strict with Japanese content only, while Gelbooru is a little more open with to a degree from western artists with anime style art.

I don't see any reason why they'd yoyo back to that.

Ummm, the very reason I stated that certain people and legal forces don't like loli/shota so they will impose a problem? Again it's not a bad consideration to reconsidered.

There were no legal reasons or threats. We are not being attacked with anything. We did this entirely of our own volition because we felt it would make the site more accessible to users, and most of all, more pleasant to moderate. I can now respond to urgent issues on the site while in public without having to worry about who might be looking over my shoulder. There are currently only three people capable of banning users or permanently removing content from the site, and it's very common for only one of them to be accessible at any given time. If I'm the only one awake but I'm in public, it's difficult to ban the user spamming comments about joining their dating site or watching their cam stream if I can't even open the comment listing because there's someone sitting next to me. Much less go through and remove those comments once that's done.

Huh. So it's mostly just a matter of working in public and judgement from society. That's understandable, if I was in that position I wouldn't feel comfortable trying to take care of something breaking the rules and a drawing of loli puss-puss fully displayed on the screen.
Okay, I was just concerned something might had happened.
