Some weirdness going on here. I still can't get any of those source links to become a 1280 link.

The DeviantArt link will only give me the 1024 pic and with jpg compression.



This link works for the 1280 post and I can change it to raw just fine. It verifies the Tumbler source. I don't know why I can't get it to work otherwise. Also, no jpg artifacts.

There is enough here to convince me to restore those but without some real noticeable difference in quality it will make it more difficult for me to handle Tumbler sourced files in the future when flagged for duplicate.

Give me some time to work on restoring those.

If it makes it easier I can also add the direct image link with "raw" in it to the sources of tumblr posts I upload from now on.

I think the problem is me not you. The source you were using is probably the best one.

While the artist isn't japanese I do believe that the image should be allowed for quality. It was at least made by 2009 and back then, this would have been one of the upper quality images of the anime world. Uploaded to gelbooru in 2011 and it still would have been pretty good quality. Today it is about average of what we've come to expect.

Its a historic piece. I think we can all remember the advent of the internet and hentai porn and I think we can all agree that quality pictures back in the day were hard to come by as the style of anime wasn't the greatest back then.

Dayum! This was deleted a very long time ago. I'm surprised it's still on the server. This was before we allowed any western artist at all. The art is par quality for it's age and Japanese style and of a Japanese copyright. I'll allow it. [Restored]
