By saying "I uploaded it first" I meant that the Twitter one was the first one posted by the artist. There wasn't another one for me to choose from that one time I uploaded it.
Also, this wasn't the case, but "it got upload first" means that it is no dupe (it kinda clashes with the "we always keep the -original- or better-quality version" as in "a dupe is fine if it meets our criteria")
Anyway, I understood, I am surprised, but I understand: to prioritize Pixiv. And it's weird, considering Twitter it's just a site, a service for users or artists: an artist may not care at all if Twitter is "a true image sharing site" or not, so the artist will just post there, because the artist just feels like to, and that's the source of his/her works. and so, as such, all the artist's works will be compressed, so, by default, no Twitter uploads, according to the "high definition" rule. Lastly, Pixiv is just a place for artists, but you can share images on many sites.
It just got me thinking, that maybe tomorrow an artist will post to Pixiv a work already posted on Twitter, and so, the previous Twitter upload (by we users) will end up being "obsolete"... and maybe, our Twitters uploads will be deleted.. a clean-up..
