External genital mutilation is generally treated more harshly than other forms of mutilation.
There probably is more tamakeri art that would be removed if moderators found it. Unfortunately, we don't often have the manpower to go through entire tags to remove rule violations, which is why instances like this will be deleted when we stumble upon them or they are flagged but other rule violations may remain up on the site. We try to watch as much of the new content that gets posted as we can, but unlike Danbooru, we have no approval queue, so there will be gaps in coverage between moderators checking the site, and if an image slips through in one of these gaps, there's a good chance nobody in staff will see it for a while until it either gets flagged or we stumble upon it while working on some other activity.
I found this on reddit and thought it was a good edit.
It's fairly easy to tell it's been edited - neither nipple is at the same resolution as the original image, and neither of them match the artstyle of the rest of the work.
I made minor edits to an existing image on the site, but it was removed because it is a "pixiv thumbnail of Id: 4750337" I don't know what a pixiv thumbnail is, so I might be making a mistake, but I don't think the image is a pixiv thumbnail. gelbooru.com/index.php?page=post&s=view&id=4751673

What edit? All I see is that it is smaller. That would be a poor edit still worthy of deletion.
