I’ve been a member for quite a while and have just started posting again. I’ve read the howto:upload and howto:tag pages, and I’ve done my best to follow the rules and guidelines. Here’s my post, followed by my question.

This is my own third-party edit of a Po-Ju page, detexted and colorized. I wanted to use the original as the source, but when I put in the link, it doesn’t work.* Here’s the original:

I want to understand what I did wrong and how to get it right before I post anything else.

*I found and fixed the problem, which was a stupid space in the URL. My own fault. I’m leaving this post intact in the hopes that a mod will read it, look at my post, and maybe offer some advice if they see anything I should or shouldn’t have done. Yes, I’m just that OCD and anal-retentive. >_<

Hmm, that boy is so cute and girly. I think the trap tag should be added. Also... if there is no gay action, the yaoi tag should not be used I believe.

The source part should be used only for the place where it was originally uploaded, such as twitter or pixiv, but since this is "original" you don't need to add a source, with a comment saying "Hey, I'm the one who edited [post], here's the original" and if you happen to upload your edit somewhere else then may as well add that source here so people can follow you for more edits.

At least that's what I could do.
