Something I noticed a few days ago was that around roughly 8 to 12 of my comments suddenly went missing.

Can a mod clear up why?

I remember a tag poisoning troll (one of his many ban evading accounts being DioBrandoMuda) had flagged my comments immediately right after I had said "yeah I flagged your comments" (since they were part of some shitty flame war over tags)

Did my comments break the rules or did they just get removed simply they were flagged?

You're not alone. Few of my comments were deleted early on.

If they were part of a flame war, that's probably why they got deleted. We usually remove those in their entirety.

Are you guys able to see the flag reason of comments you recently deleted? That's my question.

We do not have access to any records of deleted comments. Lozer can dig them up to file NCMEC reports, he's the only person who can access them and that's the only reason he'll do it.

We've gone a while with no one going through the flagged comment queue. I had some spare time so I went through it myself.

Of >3500 flagged comments I unflagged less than 100. Most were valid flags. I deleted maybe less than 50 unflagged comments I found in the wild that broke the rules. I deleted less than 200 unflagged comments for being responses to deleted comments.

Unlike images, deleted comments do not get purged.

I'm confused, is that a "yes we have deleted comments" or "no, deleted comments are permanently gone?"
