What's the worst anime you've ever watched?

I have to say the worst for me was Lucky Star... I know it has lots of fans, but I couldn't watch more than 10 minutes, it was so boring. That was like 7 years ago, maybe things have changed...

there are many options, but to say the most known, it would be SAO.

Oh man, I'd really have to think about this.... I've watched a number of bad anime in my day.

But I'm not sure if it even counts because I tend to drop bad anime if I get bored of it.

SAO, Sonic X at early seasons, Mirai Nikki (at least that one is entertainingly bad).

Kantai Collection and Azur Lane.
Bad games with bad shows, and how appropriate.

Again, not sure if my vote counts since I didn't finish the first season, but yeah SAO was very garbage. It's probably the worst of the "super popular" anime. It's just so bad and cringe. In fact I almost want to watch more it to see how bad it gets.

And it's sequel's helps nothing, the only shining light in this cesspit is the porn.

Spill it out. Release your rage.

That's the thing
Now let's be real here, Kancolle is gambling simulator, even with the high max ships you worked so hard, you still lose your pngs outside of your control, since the whole "gameplay" is just watching mugshots shooting dots at each other without your influence, it's all NPCs VS NPCs and all of it relies on RNG. AzurLane's a bit better but that's not saying much, the only thing what's superior to Kancolle is playing as a ship, even then it doesn't matter because of how repetitive it is, imagine touhou but the same spellcard pattern by the first boss is used by every boss. It was fun for the early walkthroughts, but it's gets boring fast. Both have dogshit gameplay loops where the addiction starts to fall off. No one, but only the schizophrenics who dare to walk through, all of this insane loops.

The anime, I thought, that it could be better than the games, could had been it's own thing like Kirby Right at Back Ya or Fleetway Sonic since it's canon is vague and messy, like you're the last survivor left on this world and you're tamed the abyssals to the point they change appearance based on WW ships. Instead what I got is mediocrity trash, like the games.

Either Tsukihime or Aquarian Age... at least they had some good music tho.

There's also some popular, well-made anime that I hate but I'll refrain from riling anyone up with that. I'll just say that I hate ultraviolent or "dark fantasy" stuff and leave it at that.

Melody of Oblivion or Mayoiga, there are probably worse anime than these two but most of the stuff that's worse is easily avoided, I consider these the absolute worse because they actually seem like they could potentially be decent and then hit you with the dumbest plot points and twists possible. The last few episodes of Melody of Oblivion seem to exist just to mock you for even watching it to begin with
