Nintendo files lawsuit against Palworld

Looks like Nintendo is filing a lawsuit against Palworld.

This is honestly pretty pathetic on Nintendo's part. I'm very sure they're just butthurt that Palworld completely wrecked their shit and made them look completely incompetent. Giving an actual next generation pokemon game that they couldn't deliver.

And yeah, I know most people forgot about Palworld after a month or two, but it was still better than the garbage Pokemon games that were very disappointing.

I bet it was a unhinged Pokefag who mass mailed Nintendo to sue someone.

And even then, I'm pretty sure that Palworld will win the lawsuit against Nintendo because they don't use their assets and the "monster capture" idea own nobody, not even Pokemon.
And if it's AI then it falls fast since AI isn't offensive to the law lol.

To be fair, Nintendo has chances of winning because we know palworld stole some assets from pokemon, like, Primarina's hair and Liligant's head flower are easy proof if them using their assets.

Aside from that and a few designs like the 3 Eevees, yeah, there's nothing else

Would Palwold just avoid saying remotely that some of their monsters are inspired by pokemon monsters? I heard some artists avoid saying that their work is inspired by certain ip's to avoid lawsuits seeing there are artists who fall victim to it for just saying it.

This is clearly some kind of misdirection. I bet some kind of information about Nintendo was going to come out, be it about something they did, something they planned to do, or something they're currently doing. This is just a smoke screen to get people to talk about it.

It should be clarified that this isn't a copyright lawsuit, so any similarities between certain pokemon and certain pals has no baring on the case.
This is a patent lawsuit, so Nintendo is suing over gameplay mechanics like capturing creatures in handheld containers, using those captured creatures to overcome terrain obstacles, ect. The vast majority of these patents are going to get shot down for being too generic, but Nintendo has patented virtually every aspect of gameplay found in pokemon. So they are jjst going to fling the whole truckload at the wall and hope something sticks.

"using those captured creatures to overcome terrain obstacles, ect."

So does nintendo intend to sue Rolf the Son of the Sheperd for mowing his garden with Victor his goat because Victor is basically using HM01 cut?
